Lottery of Life

In the lottery of life 65 days, we each receive a ticket,
A chance to dance in sunlight, or weather every storm.
From cradle to twilight, our paths intertwine and flicker,
Through valleys low and mountains high, in ways unique and warm.

Some tickets draw the spotlight, fame’s fleeting glance they win,
While others find their solace in whispers of the wind.
For every rise and every fall, the tapestry is spun,
In every heart, a melody, in every soul, a hum.

The lottery of life, it paints with hues so bold,
From laughter in abundance to tears that carve the soul.
Yet amidst the random splendor, a truth we come to see,
